Bella Rose

Here is Debbie's first card for Classy Cards 'n Such!

I stamped the Bella Rose on white paper using black ink, and colored the rose using Copic markers. Then I took some pink paper to make the frame.  I have seen this in some magazines and wanted to give it a try.  Using Spellbinders Labels Twenty, I picked two dies that are about the same size and then I ran them through the die cutting machine at the same time and then embossed them.  I am not sure if this is the correct way to make the frame but it worked!

Then I took the same pink paper and I embossed two pieces with the Leaves embossing folder.  This folder is really cool because the design repeats itself so you can line it up and put two pieces together.  I hid the seam with the ribbon.

Then using the white dye ink, I colored the raised parts of the paper.  I raised the frame using mounting tape. Then I assembled the card layering with green and pink adding some pearls and  the Gillian Raspberry flowers and embellishment.

Supplies:
Spellbinders - Labels Twenty
Embossing folder - Leaves
Embellishments - Gillian Raspberry flowers, ivory pearls
Ink - white dye, black, pink dye
Other - Assorted paper, ribbon, Copic markers, mounting tape, double stick tape

Thanks!
