Lacy Simple Pleasures

Hi folks, it's Holly posting today.  I'm sharing a simple vintage-y card that shows off some gorgeous Cluny lace and one of the new lace border dies in the Classy Cards 'n Such Store.

This card starts with an ivory card base and I've sponged some Antique Linen distress ink around the edges.  This gorgeous floral paper is from the Magnolia Grove paper pad, and I used the new Lady Kate Edger die (Cheery Lynn Designs) on the bottom of this paper.  This border die does not cut through your paper on the opposite end, so it is perfect when you want to add a lacy look to the edge of your paper.

I then cut a piece of the wonderful Ivory Cotton Cluny Lace and wrapped it around the top of the floral paper before adhering the paper to the card base.  The "Simple Pleasures" sentiment circle is one of the pop-out die cut pieces in the Magnolia Grove paper pad, and I adhered that with some Joy Foam Pads.  The sweet little flowers were created by cutting some mauve cardstock with the Cuties 3 die (Cheery Lynn Designs) and then rolling it up with a quilling tool.  I added some Light Coral Pearls to the centers of each flower for an extra touch of vintage charm.
