Tis The Season

Hi, it is Shirley posting today.   I have another Christmas card to share with you today. I am hoping to get my cards done so I can get them in the mail soon.

I started my card with a red card base and added a silver layer over it.  I embossed snowflakes on a white piece of card stock.

I used a stamp by Flourishes in the Holiday Topiaries set to stamp the "Tis The Season" on the upper corner of the white card stock.

Next I used the Memory Box Precious Mittens die to cut four red mittens with silver cuffs.  The little snowflakes on the front of the mittens were made using the Impression Obsession Small Snowflake Set.  I attached them to red twine with bows that goes across the card.

I cut three Memory Box Rizza Snowflakes.  I layered a silver snowflake under the white one.   I used the red one for the flake in the center of the white snowflake.

For the final touch to my card I added Silver Rhinestones and red sequins. You could also use the My Favorite Things Sequins die to make your own sequins.

Thanks for taking a look at my card today and have a great week.

Definitely 'tis the season for warm woolen mittens and snowflakes falling - this card has me singing - even though I am not ready for the colder weather quite yet!! Love the extra pop of the red sequins too! Hugs - and sending you some hot cocoa today to go with the warm woolen mittens!! Great use of the EF and the snowflake and mitten dies!

So darn cute - reminds me of my Mom clipping my mittens to my jacket - and I still lost them.
